We are scaling up rapidly and expanding our team. As we grow, we need strong HR foundation to support our people and operations. That’s why we are looking for a hands-on HR Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of our HR processes. This position focuses on managing employee lifecycle processes, maintaining accurate HR records, administering payroll and benefits, and providing support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries. You will work closely with our HR colleagues and employees to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your work will directly contribute to creating a well-structured, compliant and employee friendly organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrate and validate monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding administration, including preparation of employment contracts, compliance checks, and proper documentation for new hires and departing employees.

  • Maintain and regularly audit employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with external payroll providers and internal finance teams to address payroll-related issues.

  • Support benefits administration, including the implementation of new benefits and responding to employee inquiries.

  • Register and update employee information in the HR system (Fhris), including sick leave, salary changes, and personal details.

  • Prepare monthly reports on key HR metrics such as employee headcount, sick leave statistics, and turnover rates.

  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all HR systems and records.

  • Assist employees with HR-related questions, including work permits, 30% ruling applications, and employer statements.

  • Ensure compliance with Dutch labour laws and company policies.

  • Document HR actions by completing necessary forms, reports, logs, and records.

  • Act as the go-to person for employee queries related to HR operations.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in HR administration or operations role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and payroll.

  • Proficiency in HR systems; experience with Fhris is a plus.

  • Experience with HR analytics and the ability to interpret HR data for decision making.

  • Strong understanding of Dutch labour laws and payroll regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced growing company (preferably in a tech or R&D driven environment.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
