As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to help scale and strengthen our internal IT infrastructure and support our expanding team.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring our growing tech environment runs smoothly. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain our IT infrastructure so that our employees can focus on innovating for a safer world. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Manage user accounts and access rights, including onboarding and offboarding tasks.

  • Maintain and optimize office IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system failures or performance bottlenecks, escalating complex issues when needed.

  • Liaise with external vendors to manage warranties, repairs, and software licenses.

  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including manuals, FAQs, and procedures.

  • Support hardware and software deployments, upgrades, and patch management.

  • Monitor system performance and implement measures to ensure reliability and data security.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 2+ years in an IT support or system administration role.

  • Comfortable with Windows, macOS, Linux environments, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS), and hardware troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of data protection best practices and experience with user access controls.

  • Ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently, from minor user glitches to complex system failures.

  • Strong verbal and written skills in English; Dutch is an advantage.

  • You can work independently but thrive in a collaborative environment.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
