We are looking for an experienced, highly driven Sales Director to drive the commercial expansion of our Energy portfolio.

In this role, you will be responsible for new business, building strong relationships across the global Energy market, and closing deals that support our ambitious growth trajectory. You will work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to position our solutions effectively and deliver value to customers.

 

This is a commercial role for someone with strong customer experience, commercial maturity, and the ability to operate in a fast-changing scale-up environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth for the Energy product lines, focusing on new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.

  • Deliver the global sales strategy for the Energy market, aligned with Optics11’s commercial roadmap.

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through strong prospecting, lead qualification, and customer relationship development.

  • Close high-value, complex deals and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Represent Optics11 at international conferences, exhibitions, and customer visits, act as a strong ambassador for the brand.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to ensure customer needs are translated into technical solutions.

  • Provide accurate forecasting, market insights, and competitive intelligence to leadership.

  • Manage distributors and partners within the Energy market and expand the network strategically.

  • Ensure accurate and disciplined use of CRM and sales tools.

Job requirements

What we are looking for?

  • 8–10 years of successful international commercial experience in B2B environments.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing effective sales strategies.

  • Experience in markets with similar dynamics to Optics11 (high-tech, complex technical systems).

  • Strong and relevant network within the international Energy market, particularly within the distribution landscape—is a strong plus.

  • Strong commercial profile with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable to the fast-changing dynamics of a scale-up environment.

  • Team player who collaborates effectively across departments.

  • Self-starter: energetic, hands-on, and capable of performing under pressure.

  • International mindset; willing and able to travel frequently to visit customers and attend events.
