Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

As a Warehouse &Logistics Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our day-to-day warehouse and internal logistics operations. This is a hands-on position where you ensure that materials and products are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely across the organization.

Working closely with warehouse, production and engineering teams, you help make sure everything is in the right place at the right time, enabling smooth operations and reliable product delivery.

At Optics11, we are building one of Europe’s most exciting deep-tech scale-up environments, developing advanced fiber optic sensing technology that protects critical infrastructure across underwater security, energy, and industrial applications.

What will you do:

• Receive, unpack, store, pick, pack, and ship goods

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries

• Move materials within the warehouse and between departments, including supporting production with timely material availability

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all materials

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment

• Record inventory movements accurately in the system and support cycle counts and stock checks

• Help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Prepare shipments, including packing, labeling, and supporting shipping documentation

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely outbound deliveries

• Respond to urgent material requests when needed

• Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials

• Maintain accurate records where required

What we are looking for

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse and/or logistics operations

• Experience with physical handling, packing, and moving goods

• Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP is a plus

Skills

• Hands-on and practical mindset

• Accurate, structured, and well-organized

• Reliable and able to work independently

• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude

• Basic computer skills (e.g. Excel, ERP systems)

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment

• Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one
